Konstantin Kostov, academic sculptor and conservator, was born in 1943. In 1970, he graduated the Academy of fine arts in Zagreb. He lives and wokes in the town of Zadar. He has Individual exhibitions in Austria, Bulgaria, Italy, Croatia, Germany, Japan and the USA. Konstantin is the founder and leader of International art colonies and ecological-artistic campaign SmećArt. The campaign and the works of art present the richness of Konstantin's creative approach, and the aim is appeal to our conscience and to signify that it is about time to do something for our environment. He performed numerous statuary and conservational works on significant historical and cultural monuments in Zadar, Zagreb, Senj, Šibenik, Salzburg, Seekirchen, Florence...
He was honoured with the medal of the Bulgarian government for the contribution in the development of cultural relationship between Croatia and Bulgaria.
